Systemic coaching and consultation for companies
Empowerment and fresh perspectives for employees and leaders
Welcome
My name is Lena Böhm, and I am a consultant and coach out of deep conviction and with passion. Successful coaching not only strengthens the individual and the company in the long term - it has the power to inspire.
Do you wish for more focus, productivity, and satisfaction among your employees and less stress and conflicts in your company? Then you are in the right place with me. Business Coaching is a highly effective and interactive development process that addresses both professional and personal issues. The focus is on designing and evaluating the professional role in connection with the individual concerns of my clients. Only those who are allowed to grow in their role will truly play a significant part in company growth. My second focus is the overall optimization of the social fabric within the company, including communication, dealing with hierarchies, team dynamics, gender equality, corporate culture, and supporting change processes.
Every truly successful individual and every truly successful company utilizes coaching. The best of the best work with coaches and thereby achieve outstanding results.
Change of perspective
A question for you: How do you and your company intend to move forward, make a genuine change of perspective, and gain new momentum if you stay in your own bubble? My business clients appreciate that I live "outside" their world and have a different background - this can accelerate the process of gaining insight about themselves and will provoke new perspectives. I am a trained designer and have worked for 15 years as a successful portrait photographer in Berlin. In addition, I am not only a systemic coach but also a certified expert in order, structure, and organization. I have the ability to recognize disorder and inefficiency in systems - both externally and internally - and to see the solution. Above all, however, I listen to you and offer the space to consider the situation from the ground up and "tidy up." My attitude is positive, empathetic, and motivating, and my thinking is creative, structured, and goal-oriented.
So much potential is buried, unseen, and untapped
Utilize the valuable resources that are already there: your employees and your corporate culture. The people who shape the company together sometimes need outsiders they can confide in and work with on issues - both professional and private. Give them the chance to grow beyond themselves - they will thank you and repay you in the form of dedicated work. From a company's perspective, it is also essential to ensure that the employees are a perfect fit for your company and that they are in roles for which they are uniquely qualified. I offer you coaching with tailored focuses that match exactly your company, your vision, and the current situation. Here are some examples:
Increase Stress Resilience
The business world can be stressful, but I support your employees in coping with stress. My coaching techniques promote a healthy work-life balance and strengthen emotional resilience.
Successfully Mastering Change
In the dynamic business world, change is inevitable. I support you in welcoming change as an opportunity, overcoming resistance, and establishing an agile corporate culture that proactively embraces change.
Create a Harmonious Work Environment
A positive work environment boosts motivation and employee performance. I assist you in establishing a harmonious and respectful workplace that leads to a workforce who are dedicated to making your company successful.
Lead Your Team to Peak Performance
A successful company relies on a motivated team. I help you inspire your employees, nurture their talents, and establish a strong, collaborative company culture.
Foster Innovation and Creativity
In a constantly evolving business landscape, innovation is the key to growth. My coaching aids you in fostering creative thinking and discovering new approaches to conquering your industry.
Develop Empathetic Leadership
Through empathetic leadership and effective communication you can create an inspiring work environment and elevate your company to new heights. I support you in strengthening your emotional intelligence, showing compassion, and better understanding the needs of your team members.

"The perennial photographer"
In my 15-year career as a successful portrait photographer, I have worked for magazines such as Der Spiegel, Focus, Galore, Berliner Zeitung, and Handelsblatt, capturing many successful entrepreneurs, renowned politicians, and artists. Even though that career is behind me, I remain a photographer at heart. When you have portrayed hundreds of people, as I have, you learn to look closely: Who is it that I truly have in front of me? First, the person and their image appear, and then - with experience, method, the right equipment, and sensitivity - more and more of their personality, various character traits, and something like the core of the person become apparent. It doesn't matter if it's Travis, Cordula Stratmann, Friedrich Merz, or Christian Lindner standing in front of you. As a photographer you become an artist with light because, when it’s right, the truth of the person is revealed. As a coach, the art is in focusing the light of attention on the resources, strengths and the full potential of the client. When this honest focus is maintained, lasting change follows. After all, true change requires profound self-awareness.
About me
Creativity, open-mindedness, and determination - Three terms that fit me. I love art, culinary delights, movement, the diversity of the world, and my spirituality. And as much as I enjoyed living in vibrant places like the San Francisco Bay Area, Berlin, or Cologne, I am now drawn to quieter surroundings.
When someone asked me what qualifies me to work as a coach, I replied that I have - first and foremost - built a beautiful and happy life for myself: one that suits me. But that was not always the case. Between the ages of 20 and 38, I had significant self-doubts and professional difficulties. To the outside world, I appeared confident, successful, and happy, but that was not the case.
As my discomfort continued to escalate, the inevitable breakdown followed. Fortunately, I then experienced a revelation that shook me awake and allowed me to see the crisis as a new beginning. From that moment on, I started taking sole responsibility for myself and my happiness. This significant transformation within me was the initiation for me to guide other people on their path - confidently and with full trust.
My career as a coach began with my training under the "Order Icon" Carola Böhmig. I learned a lot in the subsequent years as a coach for order, structure, and clarity, and I have been able to witness the most astonishing and touching transformations in my clients and their lives. The journey from chaos to order is life-changing - and it remains an element in my coaching practice. Over time, I realized that I wanted to delve deeper and more comprehensively into personality development, potential unfolding, and success and happiness in all their facets. To acquire further skills and tools, I then pursued certified training with Prof. Dr. Manuel Tusch (IFAP) in Cologne. Together with my other qualifications and experiences, it provides a solid foundation for my work with my clients.
I am convinced of the positive effect and the power that coaching can bring about. I have seen the profound effects it has had on my clients, and I have experienced it myself in the role of the client.

Young Supply Chain Manager is consistently under-challenged in his job and is seeking new challenges.
under-challenged
A 32-year-old man, a specialist in the logistics industry, came to me feeling under-challenged in his current position. Despite performing well in the company, he found his daily work routine monotonous and not challenging enough. His desire was to find new challenges and growth opportunities in his career. In our first meeting, we conducted a SWOT analysis (Strengths, Weaknesses, Opportunities, Threats) to identify his professional strengths and weaknesses, as well as potential opportunities and threats. Based on this, we were able to set specific coaching goals. We jointly defined measurable objectives and developed a concrete plan to achieve them. Additionally, we worked with the inner team model by Schulz von Thun and employed role-playing to help him prepare for conversations with superiors or other stakeholders. Armed with this action plan, my client approached his leaders and successfully advocated for more responsible projects and tasks. Concurrently, he looked for opportunities to expand his professional qualifications. We met regularly to monitor progress and adjust the plan as needed. After a few weeks of implementation, he noticed significant improvements. He was entrusted with more complex projects and was able to complete a meaningful advanced training. This not only led to greater job satisfaction but also boosted his confidence and career prospects.
This case study demonstrates how business coaching can offer a tailored, systematic approach to promote professional growth.
Career woman in senior service finds work-life balance and achieves harmony in her profession.
Work-Life-Ballance
An exceptionally successful woman in a leadership position came to me because she was struggling to balance her demanding career with her personal life, including caring for her twins. She reported that the work atmosphere was tense and that when she got home, she hardly had the energy or desire to meet friends or pursue her hobbies - she was just barely functioning.
In our first session, we conducted a current state analysis to clarify her immediate challenges, priorities, and resources and to gain some distance from the tangled situation. Our approach aimed at better activating her personal resources and managing her energy levels more consciously. This involved delegating some work to colleagues and introducing self-care and time management strategies. Her ideal vision, when compared to the current state analysis, showed her the direction she needed to move in to regain balance. She began keeping a diary and deliberately planned more time for friends and hobbies. As part of her self-care routine, she decided to hire a personal trainer. Additionally, she practiced mindfulness exercises to access her inner strength and calmness, providing a reliable anchor during stressful situations. Through these measures, she not only regained energy but also improved the work atmosphere. The newfound harmony in her profession positively influenced her personal life. She found a healthier balance between work and leisure, allowing her to fulfill her roles as a mother, friend, and leader more effectively and satisfyingly.
This case study demonstrates how targeted coaching can effectively restore work-life balance, achieving higher quality and satisfaction both professionally and personally.
Longing for more creativity
Woman in public service longs for creativity and realizes herself as a home stager.
A woman who worked in the public sector came to me because she was dissatisfied with her current tasks. Although she had a secure and well-paying job, she lacked creativity and passion in her daily work. Her vision was to lead a more creative and fulfilling life. In our first session, we conducted a deep analysis of her professional and personal interests. We used various assessments and creativity exercises to recognize her true potential and interests. She was given the assignment to search for professions based on her interest profile. After a short time, she was able to identify Home Staging as her desired profession. We developed a detailed business plan and considered what qualifications and resources would be necessary for implementation. The client attended several courses and workshops on home staging to acquire the necessary skills and knowledge. At the same time, she began to strategically plan her transition out of the public sector. After several months of intense preparation, she felt ready to take the crucial step. She quit her job in the public sector and started her career as an independent home stager. In our final session, we reflected on the entire journey, analyzed the goals achieved, and planned the next steps in her new career.
This case study illustrates how business coaching can assist in successfully managing a radical professional reorientation, focusing on the client's personal strengths and interests.
lacking drive/motivation
IT expert experiencing midlife motivation challenges seeks a new sense of purpose in life.
A 48-year-old man, working as an IT expert in a medium-sized company, sought my assistance. Though professionally successful, he lacked energy and drive in various areas of his life. He not only neglected his hobbies like sports and music but also had limited interaction with his children. Moreover, he felt uncomfortable in his skin, undergoing a genuine midlife crisis, which made him go to work uninspired. At the beginning of our collaboration, we employed several self-assessment tools, including life satisfaction and stress management questionnaires. We pinpointed multiple areas he desired improvement in and outlined his long-term goals. For this client, I blended elements from business coaching and life coaching. We devised a customized plan that incorporated techniques from Positive Psychology, time management, and self-care. Emphasis was placed on resuming athletic activities and cultivating a more conscious relationship with his family. He consistently implemented his plans, designating specific time slots for sports and family activities, and employed an early stress detection method. To boost his motivation at work, we held regular status meetings, and through specific questioning techniques, he began to reconnect with his initial enthusiasm for his job. After only a few weeks of implementation, the client reported a significant improvement in his well-being. He not only resumed his athletic endeavors but also deepened his relationship with his children. Additionally, he set up a 3D printer section within the company, which he oversaw. These positive changes also reflected in his self-esteem, leading to improved work morale and heightened job satisfaction.
This case study illustrates how a targeted combination of business and life coaching can aid a midlife client in achieving a more balanced and fulfilling life.
Ambition and perfectionism
Ambitious teacher finds greater calmness and self-confidence through coaching and impresses in the job interview.
A 40-year-old teacher, known for her ambition, diligence, and perfectionism, came to me because she wanted to apply for a lecturer position at a university. Despite her excellent preparation, she was plagued by the fear of failing during the job interview. We discussed her professional goals, fears, and concerns. A primary focus was on identifying the internal barriers preventing her from fully expressing herself during the interview. We worked on her composure using mindfulness coaching techniques and anxiety management. In addition, we addressed "worst-case" scenarios to minimize her fear of the unknown. An essential aspect of our work was identifying and altering negative beliefs. Over the sessions, we successfully reframed these beliefs, transforming her fear of failure into self-confidence. Through our intensive collaboration, the teacher achieved a noticeable increase in her self-confidence. During the job interview, she felt confident and was able to convincingly present her skills and qualifications without feeling intimidated. The selection committee was impressed.
This case study vividly demonstrates how effective coaching can help overcome deep-seated fears and insecurities, paving the way for both professional and personal development.
